Q: Execute long task on model level? I have a task which consist of multiple steps. I need to schedule these tasks. All steps are done in the same thread. The scheduling has to be done on the model level. Currently I am storing all steps in a list and then call a task which iterates the list and does a step-per-step approach. I think this is very inefficient because the list has to be iterated multiple times. Is there an easier way to do this? A: If you don't need an exact solution, you might want to look at Quartz.NET.
